Shawn - Certified Veterinary Technician

Shawn has been with Longs Peak Animal Hospital since 2004. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wyoming in 2001, followed by her certification in veterinary technology from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2004. Shawn enjoys hiking local trails along the Front Range and spending time with her rescued poodle mix, Bridge.






 

Kaylee - Certified VeterinaryTechnician


Kaylee joined the staff at Longs Peak Animal Hospital shortly after she received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Front Range Community College in 2009.  She currently lives in Northglenn with her boyfriend and three bulldogs, Buster, Justice and Napoleon.  Some say she has a soft spot for anything that drools and snorts.  Colorado born and raised, Kaylee enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping with friends and family.


 
 

 

 

 

 

Kristin- Certified Veterinary Technician

 

Kristin graduated from Front Range Community College with a degree in veterinary technology in 1998. She worked at Longs Peak from 1994-2008 and returned in March 2011 to fill in and work part time. Growing up in the Longmont area since grade school, she considers herself a transplant native. Kristin and her husband, Kevin, currently reside in Erie with two dogs, Dash & Doggie, and Emma the cat. During down time she enjoys baking, cycling, walking the dogs, ATVing, four-wheeling, camping, going to church, spending time with family & friends and managing a non-profit auto repair charity they started. 

 

 

 

 

Ki - Certified Veterinary Technician

Kiona graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in September of 2010. She started at Longs Peak Animal Hospital as an assistant in March of 2011. She is taking the national exam in July in hopes of becoming of a certified tech. She currently lives in Lyons with her two cats Midnight and Mac. In her free time she enjoys working with musical theater students, and aiding them in their dance ambitions. In addition she likes to hike, camp, and travel.

 

 

 

 

 

Angela - Assistant



Angela joined the staff at Longs Peak Animal Hospital in June of 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from UC Santa Barbara in 2004, and has been working in the veterinary field ever since. In June 2006 Angela and her husband, Andrew, relocated to Colorado for a better life and for Angela to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. They currently reside in Loveland with their 3 dogs Phoebe, Dorothy and Raleigh; 2 cats, Pixie and Smokey; 2 ferrets, Izzy and Lizzy and 2 reef aquariums. Some of Angela's other interests include photography, drawing and painting, cooking, gardening, snowboarding and riding horses.
